Legacy campuses recognized Read Across America and Nevada Reading Week with parades, guest speakers, costumes and more!
Below are a few samples of what our campuses did to celebrate:
Legacy – Goodyear:
At the Goodyear campus, staff members dressed up as Dr. Seuss characters. Even the school’s mascot joined in on the fun!
Legacy – Surprise:
Students and staff members at Legacy – Surprise had a dress-up day where they were able to dress up as their favorite book character!
Legacy – Cadence:
For Nevada Reading Week, Legacy – Cadence students participated in a Dr. Seuss Parade and online teachers invited guests to read to their class. The library assistant also dressed up as Hello Kitty to be a special visitor as she read to students!
Legacy – East Mesa:
At Legacy – East Mesa, principal Peck dressed up as Cat in the Hat and kindergarten students paraded through the halls! Click here to watch the parade.
