The Great Communicator – Lincoln Speech contest honors the 16th president’s exemplary oratory skills and continues a long-standing tradition of speech contests at Legacy schools. This year’s contest, the first-ever virtually judged contest, asked students to reflect on the COVID-19 pandemic. Students prepared speeches about how the pandemic may have been valuable for themselves and their families.
As an alternative topic, students could choose to speak about their everyday heroes who are helping others and showing kindness.
