Do you need some fun ideas for how to celebrate? Below are a few unique activities you can do as a family!
- Post-it note bouquet. We all know moms love flowers but if you’re looking for a cute alternative, you can give her a bouquet of reasons why you love her. Use post-it notes to write down your favorite things about your mom and then fill a vase with the notes!
- Create together. Completing a puzzle, drawing or coloring a picture together is a great way to spend quality time with mom and see where the family’s creativity takes you.
- Make a sweet treat. You can whip up a super simple sweet treat for mom such as chocolate bark. This can be made easily by melting chocolate chips in the microwave, spreading them in a pan and refrigerating them. You can even use food coloring to change the bark to a festive color or use white chocolate chips for a fun twist!
- Karaoke night. Have karaoke night at home and have fun singing mom’s favorite tunes.
- Rock art. Decorate a rock with a fun design or meaningful message using paint or markers. Give it to mom to use as a paperweight at the office or around the house.
- Build an ice cream sundae bar. Pick up mom’s favorite ice cream flavor and toppings (hot fudge, caramel sauce, maraschino cherries, chopped nuts, etc.) and have the whole family make the perfect sundae.
