Teacher of the Month (April): Laura Hartwig (Computers Teacher/Robotics Advisor)
Reason Nominated: It goes beyond saying that Laura is our “go-to” for all that is tech related. She is the epitome of a team player, as she has allowed us to use her computer lab for testing and made camp elsewhere for her classes. She has led our Wednesday AzM2 testing and makeup sessions for our online students without a hiccup. She has lead our Robotics team to great heights with team members participating in Nationals across the country.
Staff of the Month (April): Griselda “Griz” Porter (Aide)
Reason Nominated: The first thing that grabs your attention with Griz is her infectious smile, laugh, and attitude. She is always stepping in to help out whenever needed, connects with our students, and is highly respected and appreciated by our staff. She brings a positive energy each day and she makes AMAZING tamales that she spoils our staff with. She truly makes our school a better place.
