Teacher of the Month (January): Guillermo Flores (Fifth Grade Teacher)
Reason Nominated: Guillermo always goes above and beyond the call of duty. He is currently running an AZM2 test prep session for all fifth grade students and makes it very enjoyable. He has motivated so many students to attend via the website he created. He also donated a ping pong table to the CTM room.
Staff of the Month (January): Daniel Armas (Aide)
Reason Nominated: Daniel works non-stop from the moment he arrives until he leaves. He is so involved in making many components of our school work from an operations and logistics standpoint. You can find Daniel completing tasks that make the school run smoothly during most of his day.
Phoenix Middle School
Teacher of the Month (January): Carol Messersmith (Seventh Grade Science Teacher)
Reason Nominated: Carol has done an amazing job both in the classroom and as a softball coach for our school. She is dedicated and always brings her best when working with the students.
Staff of the Month (January): Alex Marquez (Teachers Assistant)
Reason Nominated: Alex has been a great addition to our team this year. She is a go-getter and works hard to complete her job at a high level. We are so lucky to have her as a part of our team and assisting our teachers!
