Teacher of the Month (January): Mr. Lamont Colquitt (Sixth Grade Teacher)
Reason Nominated: Mr. Colquitt is such an incredible and dedicated teacher. He is always providing the best education to his students. Every day he comes to work with a smile and intentions to make the day the best for his students. He relates to his students needs and makes sure that they all get the tools required to be successful. He works tirelessly in support of our students.
Teacher of the Month (January): Mr. Mike Baker (Fifth Grade Teacher)
Reason Nominated: Mr. Baker plays such an important part in the lives of his students and their families. He always has good counsel for them and motivates his students daily. He sets high expectations for student performance and our students rise to meet or exceed them! We want to recognize Mr. Baker as an outstanding educator for his dedication, professionalism and hard work.
Staff of the Month (January): Ms. BreAuna Thomas (Social Worker)
Reason Nominated: Ms. Thomas is a very dedicated mentor to our students, always having an open door policy. She provides our students with the necessary services to build on their self-esteem. She raises the expectation that they can be the best version of themselves.
