Teacher of the Month (January): Keira Scheldt (Fourth Grade Teacher)
Reason Nominated: Keira was selected as Teacher of the Month for February for always approaching each day with a positive mindset. Keira is clearly a leader on campus because her colleagues always feel safe, welcomed and validated after making contact with her. She has an AMAZING ability to look at challenges objectively and come up with multiple solutions. The Patriot family absolutely adores Keira for her positivity and we are grateful she is back home here at Legacy – Queen Creek.
Staff of the Month (January): Chanda Lewis (Aide)
Reason Nominated: Chanda was selected as Staff of the Month for always coming to campus with a positive mindset. Chanda can be found in the hallway at 7:30 a.m. wearing a smile, greeting each student that passes her, and even dancing to spread morning happiness. Chanda talks to each student and staff member that she encounters throughout her day. With students and staff alike, Chanda is one of the most beloved staff members at Queen Creek because of her cheerful, positive and warm demeanor.
