Teacher of the Month (March): Michelle Steward-Chavez (ESS Teacher)
Reason Nominated: Michelle is the epitome of a highly effective teacher. She “gets to work and gets to work” which is very appreciated by her colleagues, students, and administration. She is self-managing and always has our student’s best interests at heart. She is highly respected among colleagues and is solution-minded when she gets bumped out of a space. She’s a problem-solver and adapter with a smile.
Staff of the Month (March): Robert Ruiz (Registrar)
Reason Nominated: Robert is new to us this year and began the year on the fly. He has done an exceptional job with the demands of the position. He is mild-mannered, organized, and has a calming nature about him that suits parents well. Robert keeps our seats filled and is already ahead of the game for next year. He is an effective communicator with our staff and is an integral part of our team. We’re lucky to have him.
