Teacher of the Month (September): Jordan Ferrell (Sixth Grade/Lead)
Reason Nominated: Jordan recently took the reins in planning the sixth grade Quarter 1 Pride Day event and it was incredible. The attention to detail, parent volunteers, organization, and overall atmosphere our students enjoyed that day was clearly evident in their smiles and laughter. Jordan worked into the wee hours of the night planning and preparing a flawless event of games, water activities, food and music. Jordan then boarded a plane and accompanied our students on their Washington D.C. trip. She truly goes all in for our students!
Staff of the Month (September): Sonya Fells (Librarian/Yearbook Advisor)
Reason Nominated: Ms. Fells works tirelessly to ensure that our library is in tip-top shape while also implementing daily lessons for our students. She recently completed our annual Book Fair, where we brought in more money for our students than we have in any past year. This was largely thanks to her communication skills and extra efforts she put in to make it a successful event. She always has a smile on her face and brings a positive attitude to work every day.
