Legacy families,
We know the hardship closing schools causes to our school community. To ensure our healthcare professionals, first responders and other critical job functions can continue to provide services to our communities, we are opening the Legacy Kids Care (LKC) Non-School Day care program as an option for families during the closure. However, space will be limited due to guidance from state officials and the CDC.
At this time, Non-School Day care will be available Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The cost to attend is $30 per day, per child.
Registration will open today, Wednesday, March 18, at 8 a.m. Click your campus below to register. You may register for a single day or the entire week. Please note that the deadline to register for Non-School Day care is 8 p.m. the night before.
COVID-19 Considerations
Legacy Traditional Schools strongly encourages you to follow guidance from Governor Doug Ducey and recommendations from the CDC to keep your child home during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic as much as possible. However, we recognize that this is not possible for all our Legacy families, and we are committed to providing a safe environment for children who need care during this time.
To ensure your child is safe while during Non-School Day care:
- We are limiting the capacity of Non-School Day care to 36 children per campus.
- Children will be separated into groups of no more than 10 and will go to separate classrooms.
- We have implemented additional cleaning measures to sanitize our schools to help prevent the spread of illness.
As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, we will continue to provide Legacy families with updates as they become available, including any changes to our LKC Non-School Day care program.
