The Glendale Gladiators have had an outstanding first quarter in their sports programs, with the volleyball and baseball teams showing tremendous growth, leadership, and success. Coaches and players alike have been focused on character development, teamwork, and overcoming challenges, setting the tone for a promising season.

In CAA and intramural volleyball, the Gladiators have worked hard to control the game and trust their teammates. This year, the focus has been replacing fear with aggressiveness, with the team rallying around the motto, “We don’t play scared, we play aggressive!” The girls have embraced this mindset, becoming a force reckoned with on the court. The coaches are proud of the progress and believe this mentality will continue to shape the team’s future success.

The CAA Gladiators baseball team has formed a tight-knit group, supporting each other on the field and in the classroom. The team’s success isn’t just about winning games but about creating a community where every player helps one another, whether through tutoring or cheering each other on. This camaraderie has built a strong foundation for the team’s success this season. The intramural baseball team has been focused on learning the fundamentals of the game, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and staying positive. The team holds a 3-3 record, with improvements in base running and field performance. More importantly, the players have developed strong bonds and are having a great time competing together.

These student-athletes are setting an example of what it means to be a Glendale Gladiator with their dedication to hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship. As the season progresses, we look forward to seeing even more from our student-athletes across Legacy Traditional Schools – Arizona.
