With over a decade of experience at Legacy, Mr. Knight has been a constant source of inspiration and guidance to his students and colleagues alike.
Mr. Knight’s journey as a P.E. teacher began with his own positive experience with his P.E. teacher. He believes that being active and working with youth is his calling, and he is always eager to inspire the same passion in his students. 
When asked about his teaching philosophy, Mr. Knight emphasized the importance of being patient, innovative, and having a big heart. He believes that every student has the potential to succeed, and it’s the teacher’s job to create a positive and nurturing environment to facilitate their growth.
Mr. Knight has earned the prestigious “Teacher of the Month” award multiple times, a testament to his dedication and commitment to his students’ success. He believes in giving himself grace when something is out of his control and maintaining a positive attitude toward challenges.
As a P.E. teacher, Mr. Knight is passionate about teaching his students sportsmanship and self-respect. He instills in them the importance of being lifelong learners and working hard to achieve their goals. In addition to his regular teaching duties, Mr. Knight coaches cross country and lead a Before-School P.E. Club.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Knight enjoys traveling, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first child.
