Principal Brian Campbell brings more than 15 years of experience as a teacher and administrator to the role.
Las Vegas, NV – Legacy Traditional Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of a new principal for its North Valley campus. Principal Campbell will be working alongside school administrators this spring, before assuming the role of principal in July.
With over 15 years of experience as a teacher and school administrator in the Las Vegas area, Mr. Campbell brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He began his career at Halle Heweston Elementary and has since served as a learning strategist, assistant principal, and most recently, principal at Gene Ward Elementary.
Under Mr. Campbell’s leadership, Gene Ward Elementary achieved one of the highest growth rates in student performance for an elementary school in the Clark County School District. He holds a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an administrative leadership endorsement from Sierra Nevada College.
Legacy Traditional Schools is excited to welcome Mr. Campbell to its North Valley campus and looks forward to the positive impact he will have on the students, staff, and families. The Legacy Traditional Schools community extends its appreciation to Nathalie Burgess for her dedicated leadership as Interim Principal during the transition period. Mrs. Burgess will continue to support Legacy Traditional Schools in Nevada as a leadership coach after July 1, 2023.
