Legacy Traditional Schools Celebrates Three Students Advancing to the 2024 Arizona State Spelling Bee

(Feb. 27, 2024) Legacy Traditional Schools is proud to announce that three students, Bhavyasri Balasubramaniam (5th grade, Glendale), Anthony Estrella (8th grade, Surprise), and Aaliyah Magsano (8th grade, Queen Creek), have been named finalists in the 2024 Arizona State Spelling Bee. The top 28 spellers from across the state will compete on March 16 at the Madison Center for the Arts in Phoenix.

We encourage the Legacy community to support Bhavyasri, Anthony, and Aaliyah as they represent Legacy schools among Arizona’s best spellers! Leading up to the State Bee, AEF features each of the 28 student finalists on its social media channels. A recorded copy of the spelling bee will be uploaded to the Arizona Educational Foundation’s YouTube channel following the bee. The 2024 Scripps National Spelling Bee Finals will be broadcast live on ION the evening of Thursday, May 30, 2024.
