Legacy Traditional Schools – Texas is proud to announce the winners of the 2023-24 Texas Teacher and Staff of the Year Awards, celebrated May 1 at a special Awards Dinner. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees who continue to inspire and elevate the educational standards on our campuses each day.

Teacher of the Year: Willie Flowers, LTS – Basse Secondary:

As a High School Teacher and Sports Coach, Willie Flowers has been honored as the Texas and Campus Teacher of the Year. His commitment to fostering a culture of high expectations and respect has significantly influenced his students’ academic and personal growth.

Starting the year as a General Aide, Ariel Puckett’s exceptional dedication and adaptability quickly earned her the role of Lead Aide. Her contributions have been invaluable, particularly in her support and leadership at the newly opened Alamo Ranch campus.

In addition to our state-level honorees, several outstanding educators and support staff from various campuses have been recognized for their exceptional contributions. These campus-level winners have showcased remarkable innovation, dedication, and passion in their roles, significantly impacting their local school communities and fostering environments where students thrive.
