Legacy Traditional Schools — Arizona proudly announces Northwest Tucson’s Brooklyn Adams as its Student-Athlete of the Month for October 2024. Since her first day on campus as a kindergartner and now as a leader on the Girls’ Volleyball team, Brooklyn has consistently shown exceptional dedication on the court and in the classroom.

Brooklyn’s teachers and coaches speak highly of her ability to balance her academic responsibilities while excelling in athletics. Coach Heather Reis says, “Brooklyn always displays hard work and commitment to being a student-athlete. She is a big contributor to the team on the court and the bench.” Off the court, Brooklyn continues to impress. She has maintained excellent grades throughout her time at Northwest Tucson and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), where she currently serves as Secretary.

Brooklyn’s coaches say her leadership isn’t just about her success—it’s about helping others succeed. She can motivate her teammates, elevate their performance, and ensure everyone feels included. As a key player on the team, Brooklyn is known for her tenacity, especially when defending the Girls Volleyball State Championship for the Mustangs. As Coach Reis added, “Her leadership skills are truly remarkable. Whether motivating her teammates during a tough game or focusing in the classroom, Brooklyn leads by example.”

Congratulations, Brooklyn! Your leadership, determination, and positivity embody what it means to be a student-athlete. We wish you all the best in your athletic and academic journey at Salpointe High School.
